Stranger Things Season 5 Won’t Use AI De-Aging Tech For Young Cast

Since Stranger Things has aired on Netflix, this series has been one of the finest series. This series debuted with the child actors but now coming for its fifth and final season, these children are all grown up. So, the speculation around the de-aging technology and AI to make these actors younger is growing. But all of this speculation was shut down when the producer said they opt-out of AI or any powerful technology to de-age actors.

It has been a long time since season 4 ended, resulting in a significant gap between seasons. Let’s see how they address this concern and deliver a spectacular ending to the series.

The producer Shawn Levy believes the production team and the cosmetic teams he is working with are some of the best they have got. And he thinks they will do a good job of reflecting actors younger than their age. The production team is confident and willing to rely on the make-up team. It’s good I believe as it offers a more cinematic and realistic watching experience.  

In a recent interview, He said “NO” but any computer-generated support or use of any AI tool. But the media twisted his words, So in another interview, he mentioned,” I kind of was surprised that one sentence I said around this topic traveled so widely,” he said. “The bottom line is, we know what we’re doing on this show. Our cast is brilliant. And these characters that the Duffers have created are so vivid. I’m not worried about everyone suiting backup and bringing them to life.

Because of WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, the shooting was halted and had to wait for it to settle down.
