DC Studios co-CEO James Gunn has a lot on his hand now. With the future of DCU with the first chapter ‘Gods and Monsters’, Superman: Legacy, the director/writer is all caught up. But he revealed in his recent comment on Instagram that he is writing the season two of Peacemaker.

Peacemaker is one of the surprise hits from the DC universe. James Gunn took the unpopular titular character and made him a fan favorite. But James is all wrapped in with other projects, fans are still wandering about the possible season of this fantastic series. And the number one question on the fan’s head is if Peacemaker is still part of DCU.

After the month-long writers’ strike, Gunn revealed that he is writing Season 2 of Peacemaker. He even added on Theards,” I’m about to go upstairs and continue writing Season 2.”

When is Peacemaker Season 2 Premiere?

James Gunn is currently working on Peacemaker amidst his other projects seems very interesting. This means the season 2 premiered sooner than we thought. As per the old news, James Gunn said that he will start the Peacemaker season 2 project as he wraps up Superman: Legacy.

He was all caught up in Superman but there are reports floating around about the delay of the movie from Jan to Spring. So, James seems to channel his necessary time to get the Season 2 script done. Moreover, the production of Peacemaker Season 2 will start after Superman: Legacy releases in July.
