The Boys: Mexico Spin-Off Series at Work

Are you a fan of The Boys? Then get ready to go on a wild ride south of the border. There are rumors on air that this American satirical superhero universe is all set to expand with a thrilling venture. This spin-off is currently under production with Mexico City as the expected location. It would be Amazon’s most recent effort to adapt one of Prime Video’s belongings.

According to the sources it is reported that, similar to the original series, it is likely to be produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios. And the news is also coming out that Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer has been assigned to use his pen. Most recently, Dunnet-Alcocer penned the script for the Xolo Mariduena-starring DC movie Blue Bettle. And we all know how it went.

Well over time this venture continues forward, and this unnamed spin-off wouldn’t be the first attempt to expand the superhero universe of The Boys. This list has already been filled with other series like Gen V and the animated series The Boys: Diabolical. It’s safe to say that the franchise has a fine track record of expanding its universe whether it might be a contemporary teen sex comedy or an animated action-pack thriller.

One of the most appreciated Amazon Prime series to date, The Boys has created its own fan base. Every time a new episode drops out it has consistently placed its place strongly on the chartlist and is beloved by all viewers. Having such a fan following and craze among the viewers, is it necessary to introduce another addition to this universe? Well, in the course of time, we might get the answer to this question. But for now, we can only wait for this spin-off to drop out.
