Two legendary directors are collaborating as a producer to make a TV project on Cape Fear. They both were involved in the 1991 project but they exchanged the project and went on to make two of the finest cinemas. But now they are collaborating on the same project as they are Cape Fear for TV.
Oscar winners Martin Martin Scorsese and Steven Spielberg are collaborating to remake Universal’s Cape Fear for the Television. The widely acclaimed thriller directed by Martin is reimagined as a TV series by Nick Antosca as showrunner. Both Steven and Matin are executive producers of the show. Darryl Frank, Justin Falvey, and Alex Hedlund are three other producers for this project

According to Deadline, Hollywood buyers are in a bidding war to get the TV reimagining of the Cape Fear. Everyone is trying to bag this project as this project has great potential and the people associated with this project are all legends.
Cape Fear is based on the popular book The Executioners written by John D. MacDonald The first rendition of Cape Fear was released in 1962 and was considered as of the finest thrillers of that time.
Martin Scorsese remade the movie in 1991 with the cast consisting of Robert De Niro, Nick Nolte, and Jessica Lange. Cape Fear (1991) was highly acclaimed by the critics and was nominated for two Oscars.
The plot of the movie is very interesting and thrilling. Bowden does not show the evidence which eventually proved Max Cady guilty. After 14 years in prison, Max is released and starts to stalk the Bowden family. Sam Bowden now must act against the law to save his family
